Detailed Description From Employer:

We are currently partnering with a Local Authority in the North West , who are recruiting for a Paralegal to join their Education & Adult Social Care team on an initial 3-month locum basis . This is a full-time position, offering a rate of circa £20 via an Umbrella company (can be negotiable dependent on experience) and they’re looking for someone to start as soon as possible.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Supporting Lawyers and Solicitors in the team
  • Preparing court documents and bundles for advocacy in the Court of Protection, SEN Tribunals, and any other tribunals
  • Assessing client statements
  • Liaising with key stakeholders, including courts, counsel and external stakeholders

Working hours: 37 hours per week Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
