Economics Teacher Key Details Position: Economics Teacher (QTS or ECT) Location: Dudley Start Date: January 2026 Contract: Long-term supply Pay: 175 – 250 per day (dependent on experience) The Role An opportunity has arisen for a motivated Economics Teacher to join a secondary school in Dudley from January 2026 on a long-term supply basis. The role involves delivering engaging and well-structured Economics lessons that develop pupils’ understanding of key economic principles, current affairs, and analytical thinking. You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons in line with the curriculum, assessing pupil progress, and contributing to a positive and purposeful learning environment. This position would suit both an experienced teacher and an ECT looking to build confidence and experience within a supportive department. The Candidate The successful candidate will: Hold QTS or be an ECT Have subject knowledge in Economics at secondary level Be confident delivering structured and exam-focused lessons Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management Be committed, organised, and enthusiastic about pupil progress The School The school offers a stable and well-supported working environment with clear expectations and a focus on academic achievement.
