Summary: The Ecommerce Program Director will spearhead a significant digital commerce transformation, managing cross-functional teams and overseeing large-scale program delivery. This role focuses on driving customer-centric growth in a competitive market while ensuring operational efficiency and scalability. The director will leverage extensive e-commerce experience to develop and execute a comprehensive transformation roadmap. Strong leadership and collaboration skills are essential for aligning various teams and stakeholders throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the execution of an enterprise-wide e-commerce transformation roadmap.
- Manage program timelines, budgets, and success metrics to deliver strong ROI.
- Translate customer insights and analytics into actionable improvements via A/B testing and optimization.
- Collaborate across marketing, IT, product, and operations teams to align priorities and execution.
- Evaluate and manage key technology platforms, vendors, and integration partners.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and relevant regulatory standards.
- Stay ahead of emerging e-commerce technologies, tools, and trends to drive innovation.
- Drive operational efficiency and long-term scalability of digital commerce operations.
- Report on progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Foster a high-performance, agile culture within the digital delivery team.
Key Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in e-commerce or digital program management.
- Proven track record leading complex, multi-channel e-commerce programs at scale.
- Hands-on experience with platforms like Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, Magento, or Commerce Tools.
- In-depth knowledge of core e-commerce components such as CIAM, Payment, and Order Management Systems (OMS).
- Strong command of analytics tools, CDPs, and CMS platforms.
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Expertise in project governance, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience working in both B2B and B2C commerce environments.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, SAFe).
- Knowledge of digital marketing technologies including SEO, SEM, CRM, and performance analytics.
- Consulting background is a plus.
- Strong communication skills (oral & written).
