Summary: The EC&I Project Manager is responsible for the safe and successful delivery of all Electrical, Control and Instrumentation (EC&I) aspects of production and/or storage facilities. This role encompasses the full project lifecycle from FEED through to commissioning and handover, ensuring compliance with UK regulations and industry standards. The position is based on-site in Fife and is offered as an initial 12-month contract. The role requires managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage EC&I project activities across design, procurement, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning
- Deliver EC&I scope on time, within budget, and to quality standards
- Develop project schedules and resource plans
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams
- Provide technical leadership for power distribution, control systems, instrumentation, and safety systems
- Review and approve designs and technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with IEC, ATEX, BS EN standards
Key Skills:
- Degree in Electrical or Control Engineering (or equivalent)
- Proven EC&I project delivery experience in industrial or energy sectors
- Strong knowledge of PLC/DCS, instrumentation, and electrical systems
- Experience managing contractors and multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with UK regulations (CDM, ATEX, COMAH)
