EC&I Engineers

Summary: The role of EC&I Engineer involves long-term contracting work focused on producing gloveboxes and handling CE&I documentation, including functional safety verification reports. Candidates will ensure compliance with CE marking directives and apply safety principles in engineering design solutions. The position requires experience in highly regulated industries and the ability to gain SC clearance as a sole British national.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce gloveboxes and handle CE&I documentation, including functional safety verification reports.
• Ensure technical files comply with CE marking directives.
• Apply conventional and nuclear safety principles in engineering design solutions.
• Work with cable route diagrams, panel gas and schematics, cable routing, emergency stop circuits, and pressure drop calculations.

Key Skills:

• Experience in producing gloveboxes.
• Knowledge of CE&I documentation and functional safety verification (IEC 61506/61511).
• Experience in highly regulated industries.
• Ability to work with cable route diagrams and emergency stop circuits.
• Capability to gain SC clearance and be a sole British national.
