EC&I Engineer- Design

Summary: The role of EC&I Engineer with a design bias involves engaging in long-term contract work focused on electrical, control, and instrumentation engineering within the nuclear sector. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct fault calculations in accordance with BS EN 60909 standards.
• Utilize ETAP modelling software for system analysis.
• Design and implement protection and control systems for 11kV and 400V.
• Engage in the design of 11kV and 400V substations.

Key Skills:

• Working knowledge of BS EN 60909 Fault Calculations.
• Proficiency in ETAP modelling software.
• Experience with protection and control systems (11kV & 400V).
• Experience in 11kV & 400V substation design.
• Familiarity with design processes and CAD tools such as Trimble, ERACs, and Digsilent.
• Knowledge of IEC61850 and power system SCADAs.
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership in the relevant discipline.
