Summary: Harvey Nash is seeking candidates for the contract role of EBS Functional Consultant, which will run until March 2026. The position requires hybrid working in Reading and is classified as inside IR35 with a daily rate of £550 - £600. The consultant will support the rollout of a new costing structure within Oracle and act as a Finance subject matter expert.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the rollout of a new costing structure within Oracle, covering the flow of cost data from third party through to Project accounting and aligning with core financial modules, including General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable.
- Configuring, amending, and testing Finance-related application setups.
- Supporting user acceptance testing and transition to live operations.
- Acting as the core Finance subject matter expert, providing accounting guidance to colleagues across Project Accounting, Procure-to-Pay, Logistics, and Inventory processes.
Key Skills:
- Experience with Oracle Financials and Inventory modules.
- Strong understanding of costing structures and financial data flow.
- Ability to configure and test finance-related applications.
- Experience in user acceptance testing and transition processes.
- Strong communication skills for providing guidance to colleagues.
Salary (Rate): £600 daily
