Summary: The Early Careers Coordinator will support the delivery and growth of early careers programmes such as internships, work experience, and apprenticeships within a global engineering leader. This role requires an enthusiastic individual with a background in HR, recruitment, or talent development, who excels in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. The position is an initial 12-month contract based in Coventry, England. The coordinator will collaborate with various teams and external partners to attract diverse early talent and ensure compliance with apprenticeship regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and coordinate the full lifecycle of early careers programmes, including internships, apprenticeships, and work experience.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to attract and support diverse early talent.
- Plan and attend outreach events, job fairs, and training sessions to promote the employer brand.
- Maximise the use of the Apprenticeship Levy and ensure compliance with UK DAS requirements.
- Maintain accurate programme documentation, monitor performance and feedback, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Travel within the UK as required.
Key Skills:
- Experience in recruitment, talent development, or HR coordination.
- Familiarity with early career programmes and university engagement.
- Knowledge of the UK Apprenticeship Levy and the Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS).
- Understanding of apprentice development best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
