Summary: The E&I Commissioning Engineer role at Bilfinger UK involves overseeing the commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems within various industrial sectors. The engineer will collaborate with project teams to develop commissioning philosophies, schedules, and documentation while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Review project scope and E&I commissioning responsibilities.
- Develop a Commissioning Philosophy document and detailed Commissioning Schedule.
- Prepare E&I commissioning paperwork and manage additional resource requirements.
- Coordinate with OEMs for commissioning of equipment and supervise site activities.
- Generate RAMS and participate in SHE audit programs.
- Liaise with DCS team for commissioning activities and ensure completion of all paperwork.
- Update as-built drawings and manage snags and reservation lists.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (desirable) or minimum HNC (essential).
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an E&I Testing and Commissioning Engineer.
- Experience in managing and coordinating commissioning teams.
- Knowledge of electrical regulations and British and European Standards.
- Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
