Summary: The Dynamics Tester role involves partnering with various teams to ensure the successful rollout of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. This hands-on position focuses on user acceptance testing, including the development and management of test plans and execution of functional and regression testing. The role requires collaboration with stakeholders to validate integrations and maintain detailed documentation throughout the testing process. The position is interim for a duration of three months and is based in Solihull, UK, with a hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage UAT test plans, scripts and scenarios aligned to finance and operational requirements
  • Support the finance team with knowledge and guidance on Dynamics functionality to ensure that the system is used effectively
  • Execute functional and regression testing across F&O modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Procurement)
  • Record defects, track resolutions and coordinate retesting with functional and technical teams
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to validate integrations and business-critical workflows
  • Maintain detailed documentation including defect logs, test evidence and traceability matrices
  • Report testing progress, risks and blockers in daily stand-ups and checkpoint reviews
  • Support go-live readiness through regression testing and production validation

Key Skills:

  • 2+ years in ERP or enterprise application testing (preferably Dynamics 365 F&O)
  • Strong knowledge of finance processes and business operations
  • Hands-on experience with test management tools
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and effective communication skills
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid project delivery models
  • ISTQB or equivalent software testing certification (preferred)
  • Experience with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate) (preferred)
  • Prior experience with multi-region ERP implementations (preferred)

The Opportunity

Seeking a UAT Tester to partner with the F&O Functional Consultant, Finance team, and global IT organisation to ensure the successful rollout of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. This hands-on role will focus on designing, executing and managing end-to-end user acceptance testing in a fast-paced, transformation-focused environment.
