Dynamics Developer

Summary: The role of Dynamics 365 Developer involves designing, developing, and enhancing the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform within a public sector context. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders to create scalable solutions that align with digital transformation objectives. The developer will also be responsible for integrating systems and providing ongoing support. This is a contract position with a rolling duration of three months, requiring on-site presence in Coventry once or twice a week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customise, and extend Dynamics 365 applications (CE and/or F&O).
• Collaborate with functional consultants and end-users to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design and implement integrations with other systems using Power Platform, Azure Logic Apps, APIs, and other Microsoft technologies.
• Write clean, well-documented code and ensure solutions adhere to best practices and Microsoft guidelines.
• Support the full development life cycle, including testing, deployment, and post-deployment support.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support across the Dynamics 365 environment.

Key Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Engagement and/or Finance & Operations).
• Proficient in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Solid understanding of Dataverse, JavaScript, .NET, C#, and Azure services (eg Logic Apps, Functions).
• Experience with solution architecture and Dynamics 365 SDK/API integrations.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, ALM practices, and version control (eg Azure DevOps).
• Microsoft certifications (eg PL-400, MB-500) are a plus.
