Summary: The role of Dynamics 365 Automation Engineer involves developing and maintaining automated workflows within Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM to enhance business operations. Candidates must possess strong experience with Dynamics 365 and automation frameworks, along with SC clearance. The position is a 6-month initial contract, with potential extensions, and requires the right to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up automation framework, design, develop, and maintain automated workflows and processes within Dynamics 365 CRM to streamline business operations and enhance data accuracy.
  • Customize Dynamics 365 CRM using Power Automate, Power Apps, and custom plugins to meet specific business requirements.
  • Integrate Dynamics 365 with other HO systems and third-party applications (eg, ERP, BI tools) to ensure data consistency and automation of cross-platform workflows.
  • Ensure data integrity and quality within Dynamics 365 CRM, including data import/export processes, deduplication, and cleanup automation.
  • Analyze and optimize CRM automation performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements for better system responsiveness and reliability.
  • Provide support to end-users, assisting with CRM-related issues, and conduct training sessions as needed to enhance adoption of automation.

Key Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM (Sales, Customer Service, or Field Service modules), strong background on automation framework.
  • Proven experience in CRM automation and workflow creation using Dynamics 365 and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).
  • Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with other business systems (eg, ERP, SAP, Salesforce).
  • Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 CRM architecture, entities, forms, and business process flows.
  • Proficiency in Power Platform tools, specifically Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI for report generation.
  • Experience with common development languages (C#, JavaScript, .NET) for plugin and custom workflow creation.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services (eg, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions) and Dataverse (CDS) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on automation and process improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
