Summary: The role of Infrastructure Technical Architect involves providing architectural leadership for end-to-end solutions within a secure environment, ensuring seamless integration of project activities. The architect will be responsible for design development, troubleshooting, and validating changes in live service environments. A key aspect of the role includes conducting application assessments for legacy systems and ensuring compliance with security requirements. The position requires deep experience in secure services environments and a DV clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- End to end solution architecture (troubleshooting and developing designs whilst whole solution impacting within the design/implementation)
- Wintel generalist with application architecture knowledge.
- Familiarity with virtualisation platforms (VMware preferred, others acceptable).
- NetApp storage experience: SAN/NAS, snapshots, replication.
- Good understanding of networking (ACI) and Firewalls.
- Ability to deep-dive on investigations to steer remediations.
- Conduct application compatibility assessments for legacy hosting environments.
- Evaluate application life cycle and maturity of workloads for migration to new ESX environments.
Key Skills:
- Architectural leadership in secure environments.

As an infrastructure architect you will be expected to provide architectural leadership for end-to-end solution as part of the programme, ensuring seamless integrations of project activities. The architect will be instrumental in design development, troubleshooting, and validating change impacts within live service environments. You will lead solution architecture across full implementation life cycle as well as validate and assess changes against in-service systems. You will be expected to conduct deep-dive investigations and own remediations. And have a deep experience of working in secure services environments. As follows:
- End to end solution architecture (troubleshooting and developing designs whilst whole solution impacting within the design/implementation)
- Wintel generalist with application architecture knowledge.
- Familiarity with virtualisation platforms (VMware preferred, others acceptable).
- NetApp storage experience: SAN/NAS, snapshots, replication.

- Ability to deep-dive on investigations to steer remediations.
The resource will be required to undertake a application assessment of applications residing on a Legacy hosting environment and involves conducting an Application Compatibility assessment to evaluate the application life cycle and maturity of workloads currently operating on the Legacy hosting platform to determine if they can be migrated to a new ESX environment. This individuals will be required to hold DV clearance as they will be operating in a secure policing environment.
