Summary: The role of Technical Lead focuses on implementing a Zero Trust ICAM solution within a secure MOD environment, requiring strong technical leadership and stakeholder engagement. This is an initial 3-month on-site contract in Corsham, with potential for extension into long-term projects. DV Clearance is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical architecture and oversight of the Zero Trust ICAM solution implementation.
• Engage with MOD stakeholders and internal compliance teams to align the ICAM solution within a classified environment.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation and security architecture artefacts.
• Collaborate with Akamai product specialists to adapt the solution to meet MOD compliance frameworks.
• Interface with senior technical and compliance teams to ensure effective communication and project alignment.

Key Skills:

• Proven technical leadership experience within Defence or National Security programmes.
• Deep knowledge of Zero Trust architecture, identity federation, SSO, MFA, and security controls.
• Strong understanding of MOD compliance frameworks, including JSP policies and accreditation pathways.
• Experience with MODCloud, AWS Secret, or UKCloud deployments.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills.
• Hands-on experience in designing secure IAM architectures (ABAC, RBAC, identity federation).
• Familiarity with identity APIs (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect) and secure authentication protocols.
