Summary: The role of DV Cleared DevOps Engineer involves working fully onsite in Worcester for an initial 6-month contract. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all outputs remain safe for public consumption.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy software solutions.
- Conduct rigorous quality assurance testing to ensure software meets performance and security standards.
- Manage software updates, bug fixes, and ongoing improvements.
- Implement robust security measures to safeguard software and data from potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and enhance user experience.
- Recommend and implement changes to workflows that increase productivity and operational efficiency.
- Identify market opportunities and propose new projects to address emerging needs and technological advancements.
Key Skills:
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
- Expertise in automation tools and processes for streamlined deployment and operations.
- Strong knowledge of security best practices and vulnerability management.
- Proficiency in a variety of coding languages and scripting techniques.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous learning and improvement.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
- A customer-centric approach with the ability to take constructive feedback and translate it into actionable improvements.
- CI/CD Tools: GitLab CI, Terraform, Ansible, Helm Charts, Python, PowerShell, REST APIs.
- Kubernetes: Experience building and managing Kubernetes clusters and application delivery.
- Familiarity with Apache NiFi, Elastic ECK, Artifactory.
- Expertise in using HashiCorp Vault.
- Solid experience with Red Hat and Windows environments.
