Summary: The DV Cleared Network Engineer role involves implementing and supporting network architecture and security for a Defence SME. Candidates must possess DV Clearance and have experience with various network protocols and security infrastructures. The position requires a hybrid working arrangement, with 4-5 days on-site per week in Hampshire. The role is classified as outside IR35, offering a competitive daily rate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementation and support of Wide Area Network Architecture
• Management of network routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP
• Configuration and implementation of Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) and network security infrastructure
• Creation of configuration guides from High Level and Low Level Designs

Key Skills:

• DV Clearance
• Experience with Wide Area Network Architecture
• Knowledge of network routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)
• Experience with VPNs and network security infrastructure (IKEv2, NGFWs)
• Ability to create configuration guides from designs
• Desirable: Data Centre Network Architecture, HAIPE, Infrastructure Automation (Ansible, Terraform), Whitebox Network Infrastructure, NSX support, Cisco CCNP or equivalent
