Summary: This role is for a DV Cleared Network Engineer to support a high-profile secure client in the Bristol/Bath region. The position involves managing enterprise-level systems within a secure environment, focusing on network design, configuration, and performance monitoring. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network installation and configuration, along with the necessary security clearance. This is a contract position offering a competitive day rate outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-and low-level designs to meet challenging networking requirements.
  • Build and configure technical solutions for networked hardware and software.
  • Fault-finding, monitoring and resolution of issues.
  • Produce clear and concise technical documentation.
  • Work across the client's site to document a detailed review of network performance.
  • Ensure seamless connectivity of wireless networking infrastructure across on-prem and cloud systems.

Key Skills:

  • Active DV Clearance.
  • Extensive experience in installation and configuration of networks.
  • Ability to create technical and user documentation with high accuracy.
  • Strong understanding of common network services - e.g. DNS, DHCP, Load balancing.
  • Experience working with Network Monitoring systems.
  • Industry standard certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.

Salary (Rate): £550 per day

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a high-profile secure client based in the Bristol/Bath region. They have embarked upon a number of large and complex technology transformation initiatives and are seeking a seasoned, confident and reliable Network Engineer to support their teams.

Your new role

This position will place you in the heart of the client's digital infrastructure activities. The client is searching for an experienced network professional with demonstrable experience supporting the planning, installation and management of enterprise-level systems in a highly secure environment.

You will –

  • Produce high-and low-level designs to meet challenging networking requirements.
  • Build and configure technical solutions for networked hardware and software.

What you'll need to succeed

Active DV Clearance
Extensive experience in installation and the configuration of networks.
