Summary: The role of a 3rd Line Cloud Support Network Engineer involves working with advanced technologies to provide support to a high-profile user community. The position requires daily interaction with customers and stakeholders, utilizing IT Service Management tools, and monitoring event management systems. Candidates must hold or have previously held high-level security clearance due to the sensitive nature of the role. The position is fully on-site in Basingstoke and includes on-call responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist high-profile user community with network support.
- Utilize IT Service Management Toolset for daily customer interactions.
- Monitor Event Management tooling and perform triage and escalation.
- Work collaboratively within a team to share ideas and improve service.
Key Skills:
- Experience with VCenter NSX-T.
- Knowledge of Cisco Firepower Management Centre and Cisco IOS.
- Familiarity with Cisco ISE and Juniper Switches & JUNOS.
- Proficiency in SolarWinds, Active Directory, and Windows Servers.
- High-level security clearance or previous clearance experience.

Brief overview on the role/project:
As a 3rd Line Network Engineer you will be working with new technologies within a team that values the sharing of ideas to build a better service.
Your role will involve assisting high profile user community, daily contact with customers and stake holders utilising the IT Service Management Toolset.
The monitoring of Event Management tooling, triage and escalation is critical to the role.
