Summary: The role is for a Design & Technology / Engineering Teacher to provide long-term sickness cover in a full-time capacity. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured DT and Engineering lessons
- Teach across a range of specialisms (e.g. Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering Principles – depending on expertise)
- Assess, monitor and report on student progress in line with school policies
- Maintain high standards of health and safety within workshops and practical environments
- Contribute to the wider work of the Technology Faculty and school community
Key Skills:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Have strong subject knowledge in Design & Technology and/or Engineering
- Be confident managing workshop environments and promoting safe working practices
