Summary: The .NET C# Developer role involves collaborating with the Head of Data Provision and Head of Software Product Development to design, develop, and maintain software applications for a bespoke ERP system. This position is a 6-month contract based in Southampton, with occasional office visits, and offers a competitive daily rate. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in C# and the .NET framework, along with experience in relational databases and front-end technologies. Additional experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C# and the .NET framework.
- Collaborate with the Head of Data Provision and Head of Software Product Development on multiple projects.
- Implement object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Work with relational databases and SQL.
- Utilize front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Key Skills:
- Excellent proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns (SOLID).
- Experience with relational databases and SQL.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies – HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Experience with cloud platforms – Azure or AWS (bonus).
