Domestic Energy Assessor TSA Surveying are currently working in partnership with a prominent building consultancy looking for a Domestic Energy Assessor to cover surveys in South Wales.
As a Domestic Energy Assessor you will use a tablet to record the condition of various social housing properties by assessing key elements such as kitchen, bathroom, central heating.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identify defects, wear and tear, and potential hazards.
- Applying the HHSRS (Housing Health and Safety Rating System) to identify health and safety risks at each location
- Conducting Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) assessments to determine energy efficiency ratings
- Assessing the remaining lifespan of key components, such as kitchens and bathrooms etc.

- Familiarity with the HHSRS system
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work efficiently using technology (tablets)
