Responsibilities
- Manage the receipt, control and distribution of engineering and technical documentation between project teams and the client.
- Ensure documents are transmitted accurately and within project timescales.
- Maintain document management systems, workflows, registers and reporting.
- Monitor document status, revisions, approvals and submissions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support project teams with document control procedures and best practices.
- Produce document control reports and monitor project documentation progress.
- Coordinate the final handover of project documentation to the client.
- Provide guidance and support to project stakeholders on document management processes and systems.
About You
- 8-10 years' experience as a Document Controller within engineering, construction, energy, oil & gas, nuclear or major infrastructure projects.
- Experience managing large volumes of technical and engineering documentation.
- Strong understanding of document control procedures and document lifecycle management.
- Experience using Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) such as Aconex, SharePoint, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Asite or similar.
- Excellent organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with multidisciplinary project teams.
