Summary: The Document Controller role is a 6-month contract position based in Surrey, focusing on managing document workflows for a global leader in engineering and construction within the energy and infrastructure sectors. The position requires several years of experience in the offshore industry, particularly in managing complex construction projects. The role involves organizing document registers, ensuring quality control of documents, and assisting in vendor documentation management. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and update Document Registers (both Client’s and Vendors) and Master Data List activities
  • Check quality of document list status, workflows, internal distribution, transmittals, etc.
  • Check formal quality of the documents before uploading into EDMS
  • Ensure tempestive submission and receipt of documents and proper archiving
  • Upload documentation and transmittal to EDMS
  • Assist in vendor documentation management
  • Assist in system management of Client / Vendor comments and related responses

Key Skills:

  • Several years of experience in the offshore industry
  • Experience managing complex construction projects

DOCUMENT CONTROLLER - CONTRACT – SURREY

Our Client, a global leader in the engineering and construction of major projects for the energy and infrastructure sectors, both offshore and onshore, is currently looking for a Document Controller to join the team in Surrey for a 6 month contract.

REQUIREMENTS: Experience: Several years of experience in the offshore industry, managing complex construction projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Purpose of the position: As a Project Document Controller, you will execute document management workflow both in Home Office, Construction sites and Fabrication Yards in accordance with methods and procedure and using the Client’s tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and update Document Registers (both Client’s and Vendors) and Master Data List activities

RATE: Please quote what limited company hourly rate you would be looking for.

DURATION: Start ASAP. 6 month contract.

WORK PATTERN: Hybrid working of 3 days in the office and 2 days working at home.

BENEFITS: Limited Company contract Outside IR35.
