Summary: A leading Tier 1 Main Contractor is looking for an experienced Document Controller / Site Administrator for a 79-week fixed-term contract in Doncaster. The role involves managing project documentation, providing site administration support, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. This position offers the chance to contribute to a major construction project while working with a reputable contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain project documentation using the company’s EDMS (e.g., Aconex, Viewpoint, Asite, or similar).
  • Ensure all drawings, RFIs, specifications, and reports are up to date, correctly stored, and distributed.
  • Maintain version control and ensure only the latest documents are in circulation.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with project protocols, industry regulations, and company procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to the project team, including scheduling meetings, minute-taking, and report preparation.
  • Manage and maintain site records, permits, and compliance documentation.
  • Assist with site inductions and ensure all personnel complete the necessary paperwork.
  • Track and log deliveries, material orders, and procurement records.
  • Ensure all project documents adhere to quality control standards and audit requirements.
  • Support Health & Safety documentation, including incident tracking and site records.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams to facilitate efficient document flow.
  • Act as the main point of contact for document-related queries on-site.

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience as a Document Controller or Site Administrator within a construction environment.
  • Experience working with a Tier 1 Main Contractor is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in EDMS platforms (Aconex, Viewpoint, Asite, Procore, or similar).
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment.

Salary (Rate): £35,000
