Summary: My client in the financial services sector is looking for a Network Engineer to enhance their team. The role requires a blend of networking expertise and coding skills, particularly in Python. The engineer will be responsible for validating network configurations and supporting design innovations. The position is based in Liverpool, Warrington, Chester, or Wrexham, with a contract duration of six months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Validate network configurations by comparing deployed vs. intended configurations.
- Simulate traffic across network devices to ensure correct behavior based on design.
- Support design innovation, including LLD (Low-Level Design) automation and proxy/firewall architecture design.
- Develop "Diagram as code" solutions for automatic generation of network diagrams including VLANs, IPs, etc.
Key Skills:
- Strong mix of networking and coding skills, with a preference for Python.
- Experience with Forward Networks (highly desirable).
- Knowledge of configuration compliance and validation.
- Understanding of Network Query Engine (NQE) concepts.
Salary (Rate): £600 daily

Responsibilities:
