• Project Context and Background: building a Django-based web app connected to a Postgres database. They are looking for a developer to build the app for end users.
• Current App and Issues: The current app built with PowerApps is facing scalability issues and data sync problems. They decided to replatform using Django for better control and management.
• Timeline and Budget: They are still working on final budget approval and plan to kick off the project end of January or start of February.
• Team Composition and Location: They are looking for one or two developers (to start with one) with an architecture mindset, preferably Co-located in London for better collaboration.
• Scope of Work and Requirements: Attached draft SOW with previous vendor.
• Development and Integration: Agile method with the use of Django templates and htmx for the Front End, integration with Okta for user authentication, and the use of DevOps for deployment.
• Budget and Billing Model: To start with T&M to quickly kickstart the project and later decide on the billing structure based on the resource's estimation.
