Job SummaryFollowing the previous postholder progressing to a new role within the Trust, the vital post of Divisional Director of Operations for Women's, Children's & Clinical Support Services (WCCSS) is now available. The Division offers a wide range of services and plays a lead role in the provision of Maternity and Paediatric Services as well as taking Trust-wide leadership for Diagnostic core standards. You will be joining a Division with a strong ambition to improve care and outcomes for their patients.The Division will also play a key role in several strategic priorities for the Trust between 2025 and 2028, including moving to a Community First approach, developing Elective Hubs and Community Diagnostic Centres.Main duties of the jobThe post of Divisional Director of Operations is a crucial leadership role within the Trust. The Divisional Directors of Operations work alongside their clinical Divisional Directors, Divisional Directors of Nursing and Care Group management teams to lead their respective Divisions. As standing members of the Trust Management Committee, post-holders will both be responsible for services within their own Division, and also play an active role in Trust-wide decision-making. Candidates will need to show professional leadership, strategic knowledge and experience; they will need to foster a culture which values continuing professional development, compassionate and inclusive leadership, and which strives for excellence in the delivery of patient care.
