Summary: The Divestment Project Manager will oversee the plans and activities for a complex European divestment project, ensuring accurate documentation and timely completion of deliverables. This role involves day-to-day project management within the divestment project structure, including hosting meetings and managing budgets. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and resolve issues while maintaining strategic oversight of risks and opportunities. This position is hybrid and based in Greater Manchester or Lancashire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure clear, complete, and accurate documentation covering all relevant deliveries defined in the project scope.
- Support the team with the on-time completion of deliverables and governance.
- Host workstream team meetings and support Steering Committees.
- Own the workstream RAID log and create associated workstream plans (including test plans, cutover plans, etc.).
- Track workstream budget, resourcing, deliverables, and all assigned activities.
Key Skills:
- Several years of project management experience with specific exposure to divestment or mergers and acquisitions.
- Strong motivation skills to lead the project workstream through end-to-end delivery.
- Able to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking skills to identify and understand risks, issues, and opportunities.
- Ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and manage their expectations.

Divestment Project Manager / 12 months / Outside IR35 / Hybrid (Lancashire OR Greater Manchester) I'm on the lookout for a Divestment Project Manager who will be responsible for managing the plans and activities for a complex, European divestment activity. You will provide day-to-day project management of the specific workstream within the divestment project structure.
Responsibilities:
- The successful individual will ensure that there is clear, complete and accurate documentation that covers all the relevant deliveries defined in the project scope and will support the team with the on-time completion of deliverables and governance.
- Responsible for hosting workstream team meetings; supporting Steer. Cos.; owning the workstream RAID log and creating associated workstream plans (including test plans, cutover plans etc. where relevant)
- Tracking workstream budget, resourcing, deliverables and all assigned activities.
Role Requirements:
- Several years’ experience of project management alongside specific exposure to divestment or mergers and acquisitions.
- Strong motivation skills to lead the project workstream through the end-to-end delivery of the divestment.
- Able to work collaboratively, drawing in internal and external stakeholders swiftly to identify problems and potential solutions.
- Strategic thinking skills to identify and understand risks, issues and opportunities that enable the wider project to achieve their desired outcomes.
