Summary: The Distribution Requirements Planner role involves planning finished goods requirements using SAP, projecting inventory levels, and coordinating supply with manufacturing and vendors. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan finished goods requirements using SAP, including inventory projections and safety stock calculations.
- Acquire demand forecasts and translate them into a network supply plan aligned with business strategy.
- Interface with manufacturing and external vendors to coordinate supply and track incoming materials.
- Develop mid/long-term Rough Cut Capacity Plans (RCCP) to maximize manufacturing efficiency.
- Maintain systems to drive net requirements for production and purchasing of finished goods.
- Develop monthly S&OP input and work with cross-functional teams to evaluate options and communicate tradeoffs.
- Manage risks and opportunities associated with demand variation and capacity constraints.
- Achieve metric targets for supply chain performance.
Key Skills:
- SAP knowledge; experience with other ERP systems is a plus.
- Manufacturing and Distribution Planning experience.
- Ability to interpret data and forecast demand.
- High proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to handle multiple planning cycles and conflicting priorities.
- English language proficiency; French is a plus.
