Summary: The role of Interim Surveyor - Property Disposals involves managing property transactions for a local authority in the Midlands. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage property transactions and drive deals forward
  • Liaise with purchasers and internal teams
  • Ensure compliance with housing legislation and health & safety regulations
  • Advise on remedial actions and coordinate with contractors
  • Conduct approximately 3 property surveys per week
  • Handle CPSE, pre-contract queries, and property transactions

Key Skills:

  • MRICS qualification preferred but not essential
  • Strong knowledge of building pathology and housing legislation
  • Competence in digital surveying and report writing
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Salary (Rate): £400 daily

A local authority in the Midlands is seeking an experiencedSurveyorwith experience is Disposals. This is a fantastic interim opportunity for someone confident in managing transactions, liaising with purchasers, and driving deals forward.

You'll be joining a supportive team with a dynamic estate and plenty of activity, offering the chance to make a real impact.

Key Details:

  • Role:Surveyor - Disposals
  • Location:Midlands (hybrid working, very flexible)
  • Rate:£350-£400 per day (inside IR35)
  • Start:ASAP
  • Duration:Until March 2026 initially, with strong potential for extension
  • Focus:Disposals, CPSE, pre-contract queries, property transactions

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on the transactional side of property work-ensuring due diligence, progressing deals, and contributing to a significant disposals strategy.
