The Client - Our public sector client is a leading cultural institution who is responsible for ensuring that its significant collection is developed, cared for and accessible to the widest possible audience. The Role - The role would be ideal for someone looking for some additional stimulus at the weekend. One shift on a Saturday ( every 4 weeks). Plus, to cover any staff absences for annual leave or sickness. Essential Criteria: A third- level qualification in a relevant subject; Art, History, Natural Sciences. Evidence of excellent oral and interpersonal skills demonstrated within a public environment. Experience within a visitor/ audience setting or dealing with the public in an information giving environment. Experience of planning and delivering creative activities/ workshops. Proven ability to work within a team setting and on own initiative. Experience of operating ICT and AV equipment. Demonstratable track record of learning and self- development and a willingness to broaden knowledge and learn new skills. Desirable: Experience of developing and delivering learning programmes and knowledge of the NI curriculum. Experience of working within a museum or other environmental, cultural heritage organisation or venue.
