Summary: The role of Disaster Recovery Manager involves overseeing the modernization and embedding of resiliency within the technology estate, specifically transforming Disaster Recovery practices across an AWS environment. The position requires strong communication and stakeholder management skills, along with significant experience in disaster recovery and resilience testing. The engagement is umbrella-based, requiring two days on-site work per week for a duration of six months. Candidates should have prior experience in regulated environments and hold relevant disaster recovery accreditations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, modernize, and embed resiliency within the technology estate.
- Transform current Disaster Recovery practices across AWS environment.
- Work with multiple business units to build secure and resilient Disaster Recovery solutions.
- Ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement throughout the process.
- Conduct Disaster Recovery and Resilience Testing across complicated IT estates.
Key Skills:
- Strong background in Disaster Recovery.
- Holding some form of Disaster Recovery accreditation.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Significant experience in DR Recovery and Resilience Testing.
- Experience working within a regulated environment.
