Summary: The Disaster Recovery Specialist role focuses on supporting business continuity planning and disaster recovery across hybrid infrastructure environments. Key responsibilities include DR design, orchestration mapping, and technical documentation. The position requires a strong understanding of BCP-DR application architecture and hands-on experience with resiliency orchestration tools. The role is primarily remote with occasional on-site requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support BCP and disaster recovery planning across hybrid infrastructure environments.
  • Design disaster recovery strategies and perform orchestration mapping using Sanovi DRM.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation related to disaster recovery processes.
  • Conduct DR drills and utilize resiliency orchestration tools.
  • Produce high-level designs (HLDs), low-level designs (LLDs), solution designs, and technical reports.
  • Report risks, progress, and improvements to stakeholders.

Key Skills:

  • Strong understanding of BCP-DR application architecture and IT infrastructure (on-prem/off-prem/hybrid).
  • Hands-on experience with DR drills and resiliency orchestration tools (Sanovi DRM preferred).
  • Expertise in Linux/Unix (AIX/Solaris/HPUX/RHEL) and Windows environments.
  • Proficient with at least one database (Oracle/MySQL).
  • Knowledge of data protection, including backup/recovery and storage/database replication.
  • Ability to produce technical documentation and reports.
  • Experience with storage replication technologies and DR scenarios.
