Summary: The role of Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Manager involves overseeing disaster recovery strategies and ensuring compliance within a fast-paced small to medium-sized industry environment. The position requires in-depth knowledge of disaster and service continuity, including the implementation of resilient plans and regular risk assessments. The manager will collaborate with service owners and support incident teams while providing reports to senior stakeholders. This engagement is structured as an umbrella contract, requiring three days on-site work per week for a duration of 3-6 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement disaster recovery strategies and ensure plans are resilient and compliant.
- Conduct regular risk assessments of the IT estate.
- Collaborate with multiple service owners to ensure compliance with best practices.
- Support problem and incident teams.
- Develop and test disaster recovery plans in a large environment.
- Provide regular reports to senior stakeholders.

Carrying out regular risk assessments of IT estate, working with multiple service owners, ensuring compliance of best practices. Supporting Problem and Incident teams. Must also have experience in developing and testing DR plans in a large environment.
Provide regular reports to Senior Stakeholders.
