Summary: The Director of Sales at Fairmont St. Andrews is responsible for driving new business and managing existing accounts within the luxury hotel sector. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong background in hotel sales and marketing, particularly within the leisure and MICE markets. The position is primarily on-site, with the expectation of travel to meet clients and attend trade shows. Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively drive new business into the hotel.
- Target and contract new direct, consortia, and agency business in line with the hotel sales strategy.
- Manage and develop existing accounts while hunting for new business opportunities.
- Work closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing and manage the existing MICE team.
- Support and manage the Sales Team.
- Network and influence the brand's global sales teams.
- Drive all leisure sales initiatives and foster relationships with key stakeholders.
- Conduct regular client visits and attend trade shows.
