Summary: The role of Project Manager for the Balloch and Chricey Projects within the Ministry of Defence Police involves leading critical ICT projects aimed at enhancing operational capabilities. The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery, governance, and compliance with security standards. This position requires strong leadership and project management skills, as well as the ability to navigate complex technical environments. The role is fixed-term, focusing on the initial implementation stages of the projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work alongside the Lead Project Manager(s) and report to the MDP Senior Responsible Owner (SRO).
• Deliver visible and robust leadership to achieve project deliverables.
• Build strong internal and external networks to aid project milestone delivery.
• Establish and maintain governance arrangements for project delivery.
• Monitor project activity and report through regular Highlight Reports.
• Coordinate implementation of Change Requests and chair stakeholder meetings.
• Develop Project Business Cases with MDP and DD Functions.
• Ensure security compliance for all ICT deliverables in collaboration with Programme Cyber Defence and Risk (CyDR).

Key Skills:

• Significant experience in project management, particularly in ICT projects.
• Experience with RAIDO activity and Project/Risk Management software.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
• Qualifications such as APM Project Management Qualification/PRINCE2, Agile Project Management.
• Experience in developing Business Cases and managing third-party suppliers.
• Broad understanding of client/server computing and MODCloud.
• Ability to work in a matrix management multi-disciplinary team environment.
