Summary: The Ministry of Defence Police (MDP) is seeking a Lead Project Manager for the Chricey and Balloch ICT Projects, focusing on the migration of applications to the MOD Cloud and the implementation of a managed ICT service. This role requires strong leadership and project management skills to ensure the successful delivery of complex technical infrastructure and operational systems. The successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders and be involved in all stages of project delivery, from tendering to implementation. This is a fixed-term position for 23 months based in Corsham, England.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work alongside the Lead Project Manager(s) and report to the MDP Senior Responsible Owner (SRO).
• Deliver visible and robust leadership, collaborating with MDP and Defence Digital functions to achieve project deliverables.
• Build strong networks internally and externally to aid project milestone delivery.
• Establish and maintain governance arrangements for project delivery, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.
• Monitor project activity through regular Highlight Reports, managing risks and issues appropriately.
• Coordinate the implementation of Change Requests and chair stakeholder meetings to track project activity.
• Develop Project Business Cases with MDP and Defence Digital Functions, including Finance and Commercial.
• Ensure security compliance for all ICT deliverables in collaboration with Programme Cyber Defence and Risk staff.

Key Skills:

• Significant experience in project management, particularly in delivering projects on schedule.
• Experience with RAIDO activity and Project/Risk Management software.
• Proficiency in Project Planning and managing third-party suppliers.
• Qualifications such as APM Project Management Qualification, PRINCE2, Agile Project Management, or Managing Successful Programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to build relationships with partners.
• Resilience and flexibility in a matrix management multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Broad understanding of client/server computing, MODCloud, and delivering highly available services.
