Summary: The Digital Training Developer role at EDF involves creating and delivering high-quality training solutions within the nuclear sector, specifically at Hinkley Point C. This position requires the implementation of systematic training approaches to enhance compliance and performance. The role is a 3-year fixed-term contract, emphasizing the development of digital training programs and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. The position supports EDF's mission towards achieving Net Zero in Britain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure full deployment of and compliance with systematic training programmes for continuous improvement.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and guidance to enhance individual and plant performance.
  • Develop and deliver a broad range of training using digital authoring tools.
  • Deliver training in virtual and physical classrooms and mentor trainees.
  • Act as course coordinator and subject matter expert for responsible training areas.
  • Maintain relationships with Nuclear Operations and EPR stakeholders for material development.
  • Communicate with external contractors for training support services.
  • Contribute to the business plan of the Nuclear Skills Alliance and Nuclear New Build.

Key Skills:

  • HNC or higher-level qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in the Systematic Approach to Training, including training development and delivery.
  • Proficiency in developing digital learning content using tools like Articulate and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience in customer and stakeholder relations.
  • Ability to function effectively in a team with mentoring and influencing skills.
  • Experience in training processes and delivering high-quality technical/practical training.
  • Willingness to travel for training delivery away from the base location.
  • Knowledge of modern learning methods and media; recognized teaching/training qualification is a bonus.
  • Understanding of nuclear power plant systems and operations is desirable.
