Summary: The role of Digital Scrum Master involves leading agile delivery for a utilities client focused on digital transformation. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead agile ceremonies across digital implementation teams, including stand-ups, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives
- Coach teams and individuals to improve agile maturity and delivery effectiveness in a digital context
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Customer Experience, and business stakeholders to prioritise digital journeys and backlog items
- Maintain visibility of progress through digital Scrum boards and shared reporting tools
- Shield teams from distractions and ensure focused delivery aligned to digital transformation milestones
- Use empirical data to forecast deliverables and optimise sprint velocity
- Drive continuous improvement across digital development, testing, and deployment cycles
- Promote agile best practices across the Scrum Master and PM community
- Identify opportunities for innovation in digital delivery and user experience
- Support the development of the Technology Blueprint and contribute to the annual Business Plan
- Collaborate across IT and the wider Kelda Group to ensure seamless digital service delivery
Key Skills:
- Proven experience delivering digital products using Scrum or Kanban in large-scale IT environments
- Strong understanding of agile delivery in digital transformation programmes
- Skilled in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and stakeholder engagement across business and technical domains
- Experience with customer-centric digital journeys and agile delivery frameworks
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Deep knowledge of the systems development lifecycle and enterprise digital solutions
- High integrity, customer focus, and a proactive mindset
