Summary: The Digital Project Manager will play a crucial role in supporting a large-scale transformation programme within a Government Department. This position requires expertise in project management methodologies to ensure effective project control and stakeholder engagement. The position is hybrid, requiring attendance in Newcastle, Manchester, or Leeds twice a month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support programme initiatives using recognised project management methods and tools.
- Develop a deep understanding of the programme environment to support prioritisation of high-value activities.
- Provide governance reporting support to programme boards.
- Identify and help remove blockers or impediments affecting enterprise delivery plans.
- Support the core team in capacity planning and contribute to building an inclusive team environment.
- Document roles and responsibilities across the core team.
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships across the organisation.
- Coordinate impact and alignment across a wide range of stakeholders.

We are seeking a Digital Project Manager to support a large-scale, enterprise-level transformation programme within a Government Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support programme initiatives using recognised project management methods and tools to ensure robust project control, change management, risk mitigation, stakeholder engagement, and planning discipline.
- Develop a deep understanding of the programme environment to support prioritisation of high-value activities, using data-driven insights to manage complex internal and external dependencies.
- Provide governance reporting support to programme boards, focusing on delivery confidence and risk visibility.
- Identify and help remove blockers or impediments affecting enterprise delivery plans, and develop mitigation strategies for complex challenges.
- Support the core team in capacity planning and contribute to building an inclusive, high-performing team environment.
- Document roles and responsibilities across the core team to inform resourcing and recruitment decisions.
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships across the organisation to support progress on shared goals and delivery dependencies.
- Coordinate impact and alignment across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure programme KPIs and objectives are achieved.
