Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end management of large-scale or complex web development or digital projects, from concept to launch.
- Partner with agency leadership in client-facing roles, assisting with new business pitches and expanding client relationships.
- Collaborate with the management team and Delivery Director to onboard new work and drive growth and profitability.
- Oversee and motivate a team of Digital Client Managers and freelancers.
- Ensure excellent profitability across client accounts, providing leadership on financial forecasting and budgeting.
- Report on project success, capturing key metrics and opportunities for optimisation.

Overview Hybrid with 2 days a week in Leeds office. £45-60k. Dependent on previous experience We’re looking for a highly experienced Digital Project Lead to join the Perfect Storm team. You will have 8+ years of experience in digital agency project management, with a particular strength in web development. You’ll be capable of leading complex digital projects, and able to manage multi-disciplinary teams. We’re looking for someone who has a deep understanding of the digital landscape, including website development, digital marketing, and client service. As a senior position within our agency, the Digital Project Lead will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of our most critical and complex digital projects. They will work closely with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. The Digital Project Lead will also play a pivotal role in project acquisition, relationship management, and the growth of the agency.
The Role and Responsibilities:

- Technical expertise: Strong understanding of development processes, CMS platforms (particularly WordPress & Umbraco), and the ability to confidently test projects, communicate with developers, and translate technical concepts into client-friendly language.
- Client management: Ability to build and nurture strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as the senior point of contact for large scale and complex projects.
- UX and design best practices: A thorough knowledge of UX, user journeys, and design, enabling you to collaborate effectively with design teams.
- Analytical skills: Proficient in using tools like Google Analytics (GA), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and other performance measurement tools to drive insights and results.
- Digital tools: Familiarity with project management tools like Trello, Jira, Confluence, Figma, and Adobe XD.
- Problem-solving under pressure: The ability to remain calm, think critically, and challenge client briefs constructively.
- Commercial acumen: Deep understanding of the financial side of project management, including profitability, forecasting, and budgeting.
