About the role As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining and prioritising the features and requirements for our digital products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Commercial, Marketing, and our development partners to deliver high-quality digital products that drive customer and business goals. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that the product vision is translated into tangible deliverables that delight our customers.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Product Roadmap Collaboration: Develop and communicate the product roadmap and strategy in alignment with business goals. Understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in partnership with product management. Engage with the customer tools to gather feedback and validate product decisions. Ensure the product delivers an excellent user experience and meets customer needs.
  • Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and manage the product backlog ensuring alignment with the product strategy and business objectives. Work with our developer partners and product managers to define user stories and develop acceptance criteria. Maintain clear and detailed documentation for product features, requirements, and user stories.
  • Product Delivery Ownership: Participate in sprint planning sessions, providing clarity and context for backlog items, being the voice of customer and the business. Ensure timely and successful delivery of product increments through active participation in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews. Track progress against key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success. Analyse product performance data to inform decision-making in product deliveries post-live. Communicate to internal stakeholders the successes and issues of the product delivery into the market.

Skills / Experience

  • Experience A minimum of three years' experience working within a digital product team.
  • Experience of working as part of a product development team in an Agile environment.
  • Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate the product vision and requirements, influence stakeholders and communicate effectively with the development team. Strong analytical skills to make data-driven decisions. Ability to balance technical, business and customer considerations. Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate them into product features. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and market conditions.
