Digital Marketing Manager – 6 month FTC Hybrid (mostly remote) £75-85k pro rata This leading B-Corp professional services company house a number of brands and work on both a National and International scale. From legal to cyber security and debt recovery, they are leaders in their field with strong values that underpin all that they do. They are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to cover a 6 month FTC as an interim role. With a strong focus on CRM and automation, the role is best suited to a Digital Marketing Manager that has extensive CRM experience. The role is mostly remote, but around once or twice a month you will travel into their office, this role can be based out of any of their offices of which there are 12 around the UK. Having a number of brands to work on within the group means that there is team of 30 within their marketing and creative teams and it is a fast paced and grown up working environment, they believe in empowering people and they are very flexible in how people can work, believing very much in trust and transparency and this has created a really lovely work environment across the team.
About the role; This is an important role within their Marketing team, you will lead the strategic development and day-to-day execution of digital marketing across their diverse group of legal and professional services brands with the purpose of driving measurable growth and engagement across both B2B and B2C channels. Having several brands within the group means a diverse array of websites that you will be responsible for overseeing the digital performance across email marketing, websites, online advertising, and automation, there is a strong focus on being responsible and overseeing all of their CRM & Marketing automation, where you will be acting as product owner for the companies’ CRM and marketing platforms, which include; Microsoft Dynamics and Peppermint (specialized CRM within Legal) and also WordPress.
You will deliver consistent brand experiences across; • Digital Strategy & Campaigns • Develop and implement the digital marketing strategy aligned with their overarching marketing and business development goals. • Identify and maximise opportunities for digital growth, innovation, and audience engagement. • Develop integrated campaigns using SEO, PPC, paid social, and display to support lead generation and brand awareness. • Website & UX – leading the UX strategy, development roadmap, and optimisation for all group websites. • Manage website performance and continuous improvement based on CRO and SEO insights. • Oversee external SEO and PPC agency relationships and ensure their campaigns deliver ROI.
Team Leadership You will be responsible for line managing a team of seven digital specialists where you will provide guidance, support, and professional development, setting goals and priorities, and foster a high-performing, collaborative culture Performance & Analytics Use data-driven insights, A/B testing, and user behaviour analysis to optimise performance across all digital channels. Benchmark performance against competitors and report regularly to senior stakeholders. CRM & Marketing Automation A big part of this role will be acting as product owner for their CRM and marketing automation platform (Microsoft Dynamics) and Peppermint, as well as WordPress. You will create and manage roadmaps for development, adoption, and best practice usage. Email Marketing & Client Communications Lead on the creation, testing, and optimisation of email campaigns to drive engagement and conversion. Ensure messaging is consistent and aligned with strategic brand positioning. External Reviews Lead the groups external review strategy across Feefo, Trustpilot and google ensuring high scoring is maintained and engagement with the business is positive and proactive.
About you: You have worked as a Digital Marketing Manager for a number of years, overseeing a team, but still very much being hands on delivery as well as strategic. You work well collaboratively and empower your team to make decisions, but give them support and guidance. You are solutions led and hold excellent communications skills, dealing with multiple stakeholders in various locations. The ideal candidate will have experience within Professional Services or Legal/Law and be used to working with a big focus on CRM management and ownership. This role is mostly remote with around once a month travel to one of their offices, although more if needed for key meetings. Ideally, it may be best suited for the candidate to be within travelling distance of central Birmingham or London as these are their largest offices.
