Summary: The Digital Marketing Manager (Maternity Cover) will lead and implement the digital marketing strategy for Johnston Carmichael, overseeing key projects and managing the digital marketing budget. This role involves collaboration with external agencies, executing various digital marketing activities, and enhancing the firm's social media presence. The manager will also analyze performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement while delivering training to the team. This position is based in Aberdeen, Scotland, and is a fixed-term contract for 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Marketing Director in setting digital priorities and brainstorming innovative growth strategies.
- Oversee the digital marketing budget and ensure efficient allocation.
- Manage and collaborate with external agencies, including web development partners.
- Plan and execute digital marketing activities, such as SEO/SEM, database marketing, email campaigns, social media, and display advertising.
- Lead and enhance the firm's social media presence.
- Measure and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns against ROI and KPI goals.
- Identify trends and insights to optimize spend and performance.
- Analyze the end-to-end customer experience across channels and touchpoints.
- Assess emerging technologies and their potential applications.
- Oversee digital best practices and deliver training when required.
- Manage key digital transformation projects as required.
- Serve as the expert and primary lead for email marketing software.
- Plan and execute paid social media campaigns and collaborate with agencies for larger campaigns.
- Be the custodian of the company website, ensuring content and results are challenged.
- Help develop a strong lead capture, conversion, and reporting process for digital leads.
