Summary: The Digital Marketing Executive role at PPE is a maternity cover position for 12 months, focused on enhancing the company's digital presence through campaign management, lead generation, and product marketing support. Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with marketing agency to plan and manage paid search and social campaigns.
  • Define campaign objectives, messaging, and performance targets in collaboration with product managers.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on campaign performance for continuous improvement.
  • Manage digital marketing budgets, ensuring effective tracking and optimisation.
  • Design and update marketing collateral using Adobe InDesign.
  • Create artwork and assets for exhibitions and digital campaigns.
  • Update and optimise website and campaign landing pages for user experience and conversions.
  • Build and deploy email campaigns using Pardot, aligning with campaign objectives.
  • Segment audiences and implement automation workflows for lead nurturing.
  • Use Salesforce to track, manage, and report on marketing-generated leads.
  • Provide insights on lead quality and pipeline contribution to support sales teams.
  • Work closely with product managers to shape campaign strategies and messaging.
  • Optimise channel partner digital activity and brand consistency.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in digital marketing, ideally in a B2B or manufacturing/engineering environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Google Ads, Bing Ads, and LinkedIn advertising.
  • Proficiency with Adobe InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator for marketing collateral.
  • Experience with website CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
  • Experience with email marketing platforms, ideally Pardot.
  • Good understanding of CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

We are seeking a talented Digital Marketing Executive (Maternity Cover) to join our team for 12 months. This role is key in driving our digital presence, managing campaigns, lead generation and supporting product marketing initiatives.

The Role Reporting to the Director of Product Management, Marketing and Strategy, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimising digital marketing activities across multiple channels. You will work closely with our external marketing agency, internal product managers, and the wider sales team to deliver measurable impact on lead generation and brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Management
  • Liaise with our marketing agency to plan and manage paid search campaigns (Google Ads, Bing Ads) and paid social campaigns (LinkedIn).
  • Define campaign objectives, messaging, and performance targets in collaboration with product managers.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on campaign performance to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Manage allocated digital marketing budgets, ensuring spend is effectively tracked and optimised.
  • Content & Creative
  • Design and update marketing collateral including datasheets, brochures, and leaflets using Adobe InDesign.
  • Create artwork and assets for exhibition stands, digital campaigns, and other promotional activities.
  • Update and optimise website pages and campaign landing pages to improve user experience and conversions.
  • Email & Marketing Automation
  • Build and deploy email campaigns using Pardot, ensuring alignment with campaign objectives.
  • Segment audiences and implement automation workflows for lead nurturing.
  • CRM & Lead Management
  • Use Salesforce to track, manage, and report on marketing-generated leads.

  • Proficiency with Adobe InDesign/Photoshop/ Illustrator for creating and updating marketing collateral.
  • Experience with website CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
  • Experience with email marketing platforms, ideally Pardot (or Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
  • Good understanding of CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
