Working in their busy Marketing team, you will be supporting their online and social engagement with their audience and helping to attract new supporters and shout about the wonderful work that they do at the charity as well as supporting them on the development of their new website.

This is a hybrid role of 2/3 days onsite in their new offices near Cosford, west of Wolverhampton and it would be beneficial to have a car as they are not on public transport routes.

The Role; The Digital Marketing Executive position is an exciting and diverse role in a successful charity that has a lot of legacy supporters. You will be responsible for the delivery of their digital engagement services through integrated digital marketing. This includes (but is not limited to) the development of owned platforms: social media, websites, earned: online content and paid: online advertising campaigns. Plus, online community management, support of online income generation platforms, and robust campaign analysis.

You will be supporting the Marketing & Communications team in (predominantly online) brand guardianship, building eye-catching awareness of, engagement with and income generation for the charity through online means in order to retain current and attract new supporters, develop relationships and reinforce the values of the organisation, including creating online video content. They are a diverse business with training centres, an online shop selling merchandise– via a Shopify platform, physical shops and a lottery.

  • Main social channels include; Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook and X.
  • Understanding Facebook Insights, Later, Google Analytics and other analytics platforms.
  • Email campaigns – overseeing the planning, building and sending of emails through their CRM, using email scheduling software - monitor results and make recommendations to improve performance.

  • Develop relationships and engage with media and influencers via social media.
  • Respond to day to day social media enquiries and community engagement.
  • Instigate and manage all digital-led campaigns.
  • Maintain and update the brand and sub-brand websites content and functionality.

  • Maintain a ‘test, insights, refine and optimise’ ethos to all online activity.
  • Conduct audits and monitor online campaigns, identify key findings and recommend approaches.
  • Whilst the main crux of the role is to lead their online and social engagement, you will also work with the wider marketing & comms team when needed such as assisting in the organising of events or other offline activity when needed.

The role is hybrid, 2-3 days onsite and the rest WFH. Due to the location of the role, it’s difficult to access by public transport, so you will need your own transport.
