Summary: The Digital Marketing Executive role focuses on managing and enhancing CMS content to align with organizational standards and user needs. The position involves collaborating with internal teams to source and edit high-quality content, implementing SEO strategies, and managing project workflows using agile methodologies. The role also includes supporting new product launches and ensuring consistent content authoring practices. This is a 12-month contract based in Crawley, England.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update CMS content to meet organisational standards and user needs
- Source, commission, and edit high-quality content (copy, images, video) in partnership with internal teams and stakeholders
- Implement technical SEO recommendations to improve search visibility and performance
- Work with developers and content specialists to troubleshoot issues and enhance platform functionality
- Manage rollout of new products, upgrades, and functionality across market sites using CMS platforms such as Magnolia, Sitecore, and WordPress
- Produce sitemaps and visual artefacts to communicate website structure and functionality
- Develop and maintain guidance materials to ensure consistent CMS content authoring
- Document processes and best practices for ongoing reference and training
- Support new acquisition sites builds, working in close collaboration with Market and Digital Marketing teams from build through to go-live
- Support testing and launch of new product functionality across priority markets
- Manage project workflows using agile tools (e.g. Jira, Trello) to schedule, prioritise, and track tasks
- Facilitate sprint ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) to maintain alignment across teams
- Monitor ticket progress end-to-end, providing stakeholder updates and resolving blockers
Key Skills:
- Experience working within content management systems such as Magnolia, Sitecore, and WordPress
- Experience in web content creation and entry
- Experience working within Agile methodologies, including participation in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Familiarity with SEO best practices, including keyword research & analysis and trends data
