Summary: The Digital Marketing Assistant will support the Business Development & Marketing team in various tasks, focusing on maintaining and updating the firm's digital platforms, producing social media content, and assisting with digital marketing campaigns. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Digital Marketing team in maintaining, updating, and administering the Firm’s external digital platforms.
- Produce and publish regular, accurate social media content, ensuring adherence to best practices and brand guidelines.
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule on all Firm social media accounts.
- Support the Early Talent team in creating social assets and a content plan for their Firm accounts.
- Ensure implementation of email marketing best practices, including the production of regular newsletters.
- Support the digital marketing team in the delivery of digital campaigns & projects.
- Support the production of web statistics and commentary to produce content reports.
- Manage deadlines, workflow, priorities, and internal client expectations effectively.
- Manage the general enquiries inbox, ensuring timely responses to relevant business areas.
- Comply with all relevant legal and regulatory obligations including the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Standards and Regulations.
Key Skills:
- Degree or further education qualification in Marketing, Communications or other relevant subject.
- Computer literate – competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
- Confidence and good personal presentation.

The Business Development & Marketing team partners with the firm in the development of our business, builds relationships with existing and potential clients and also manages our market profile. In broad terms, the team
- Manages our relationships with the media and seeks out the most appropriate opportunities;
- Drives the positioning of our brand through client service and thought leadership;
- Creates and manages the strategic business plans at a client, partner, sector and practice group level;
- Manages the firm’s key client relationship and client listening programmes;
- Creates and implements the firm’s digital strategy;
- Provides strategic advice and co-ordination on pitching opportunities and manages the rehearsals process;
- Works with our research team to produce and analyse companies, sectors and countries;
- Works with the knowledge team on submissions to the main legal directories/awards and advises practices on how best to promote their capabilities;
- Manages the production of bulletins and briefings from the conceptual stage through to distribution; and
- Delivers events that enhance our brand and provide opportunities to build relationships with clients, potential clients, intermediaries and the press.
There are c. 50 employees in the Business Development and Marketing team across London, Guildford, Cheltenham, Dubai, Hong Kong and Paris and it is divided into three key areas
- Business Development and Relationships;
- Marketing; and
- Communications.
The role of the Digital Marketing Assistant is to assist with a variety of tasks generated by the more senior members of the team, as well as supporting on key marketing projects. The role reports to the Senior Digital Marketing Executive.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Support the Digital Marketing team in maintaining, updating and the administration of the Firm’s external digital platforms. This includes the updating of all the profiles on all internal and external platforms, including the management of the starters and leavers process.
- Produce and publish regular, accurate social media content, including social assets, ensuring all posts adhere to best practise and brand guideline standards at all times.
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule on all Firm social media accounts.
- Support the Early Talent team in creating social assets and a content plan for their Firm accounts.
- Ensure implementation of email marketing best practise including the production of regular newsletters. This includes maintaining brand consistency, adhering to scheduling timelines, and conducting thorough proofreading to ensure accuracy and attention to detail.
- Support the digital marketing team in the delivery of digital campaigns & projects.
- Support the production of web statistics and commentary to produce content reports.
- Manage deadlines, workflow, priorities and internal client expectations effectively in order to best fulfil client requirements.
- Manage the general enquiries inbox, ensuring the relevant business area receives them in a timely manner.
