Summary: The Digital Marketing Assistant – Japan will join the Digital Marketing team for a full-time, 12-month role based in Battersea, England. This position focuses on supporting the launch and growth of a Japanese eCommerce platform through localized marketing efforts, content management, and performance optimization. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the digital marketing and editorial strategy for the new Japanese locale.
  • Manage and coordinate content planning and optimization of editorial pages, HP, blogs, and campaign landing pages.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and resonates with Japanese audiences.
  • Oversee localization workflows to adapt global content and campaigns to the Japanese market.
  • Support the setup, configuration, and ongoing management of the Japanese CDP.
  • Develop localized email marketing campaigns and customer lifecycle strategies.
  • Implement audience segmentation and automation flows specific to the Japanese market.
  • Monitor performance and continuously optimize based on data insights.
  • Share weekly and monthly email marketing reports with Japanese partners.
  • Establish and configure analytics reports tailored to the Japanese locale.
  • Support the development of KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance.

Key Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, content management, CRM/email marketing, or related roles.
  • Native-level fluency in Japanese and strong communication skills in English.
  • Experience managing localized content and marketing campaigns for Japanese audiences.
  • Familiarity with CDP tools (preferably Ometria) and email marketing best practices.
  • Strong understanding of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, GA4, or similar).
  • Knowledge of SEO fundamentals and experience working with SEO agencies.
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and project management skills.

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Digital Marketing Assistant – Japan to join our Digital Marketing team on a full-time basis for 12 months with the possibly of extending. This role will be based in our Battersea office. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Assistant – Japan to support the launch and ongoing growth of our Japanese eCommerce platform. This role will play a pivotal part in driving localized marketing efforts, managing editorial content, and optimizing digital performance across various channels.

KEY REPSONSIBILITIES

  • Digital Marketing and Website Management
  • Lead the digital marketing and editorial strategy for the new Japanese locale.
  • Manage and coordinate content planning and optimization of editorial pages, HP, blogs, and campaign landing pages.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and resonates with Japanese audiences.
  • Oversee localization workflows to adapt global content and campaigns to the Japanese market in coordination with translators, internal stakeholders and Japanese partner.
  • Email Marketing and CRM
  • Support the setup, configuration, and ongoing management of our Japanese CDP
  • In collaboration with the Japanese team, develop localized email marketing campaigns and customer lifecycle strategies in collaboration with the digital marketing team and the Japanese partner.
  • In collaboration with the Japanese team, implement audience segmentation and automation flows specific to the Japanese market.
  • Monitor performance and continuously optimize based on data insights.
  • Share weekly and monthly email marketing report with the Japanese partners.

Required Qualifications:
