Summary: The Digital Designer role at Self-Portrait involves creating engaging visuals for social media platforms, focusing on both paid and organic content. The position requires a strategic designer with a strong understanding of fashion and digital advertising, reporting to the Creative Manager. The designer will curate images and produce high-impact creatives that enhance the brand's online presence. This role demands a blend of creativity, technical skills, and an understanding of social media trends to effectively engage the audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and produce high-impact creatives for paid social campaigns (static ads, animated assets, carousels, videos, etc.), ensuring alignment with customer journey.
- Create and curate organic social content (Instagram Stories, Reels, TikTok, feed posts) that is visually curated and purposeful in storytelling and brand positioning.
- Curate and arrange images purposefully to enhance visual flow and impact, ensuring each post and ad contributes to a cohesive aesthetic.
- Work closely with the performance marketing team to optimize ad creatives for performance, using data insights and A/B testing.
- Own all design assets for the Ads channel, ensuring all creative and technical requirements are met and assets are delivered in a timely manner.
- Retouch and edit images as required, with attention to detail and understanding of brand guidelines.
- Create motion graphics and simple animations to enhance engagement across social content.
- Stay ahead of social media design trends and platform best practices.
- Organize and maintain digital asset libraries for efficiency and ease of access.
Key Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in graphic design or social media content creation, preferably with luxury brands.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and familiarity with Figma.
- Experience in content creation and video editing/animation is preferred.
- Strong understanding of fashion, styling, and brand storytelling.
- Exceptional organization and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills.
